April Showers bring May Flowers.  So enjoy the rain.

Unless it is a bad storm, the box is on my porch. Try to pick up your cookbooks in the next couple of weeks. After that, they will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. (Just kidding).

This Thursday’s rehearsal  will be extra fun.  A friend of Judy’s has written a 5 part round  with words that fit the vaccination process.  It will be on the website and Judy will help us learn this clever round.

But first, we will begin with some physical as well as vocal warmups.

Then memory work on New Orleans and Soon.  If you missed last weeks rehearsal , here are the memory Numbers for Soon.  Number 1 is the beginning through Measure 17.  Number 2 starts at 17 and goes to 25.  Number 3 starts at 25 and goes to 41 and Number 4 starts at 41 to the end.  Take special note of the subtle changes in your parts especially when the words are the same but there are slight differences in the harmonies.

Then on to Aquarius.  I’d like to do some speaking of the words with a metronome.  Very good practice before we put in the music.

After the break , we’ll learn and enjoy the Vaccination Round

If you have any questions for Ken, let me know.  I plan to write him with the questions I’ve already gotten.  So nows the time.  No one has asked him about staying on pitch.  Interesting!  That is always high on my list of questions.

See you Thursday.
