Hi Harmonizers

I hope more of you have gotten your shots by now.  That is definitely something that needs to be done so that we can sing together.  I think we are all waiting to see how quickly we can get vaccinated including our younger members.  I’m also anxious to hear from the major choral organizations.  Their actions can  be a guide for our own in- person rehearsals.  And outdoor rehearsals with vaccinated members may well be in our sights.  Fingers crossed.  We all miss singing together.

Meanwhile, thanks again for staying engaged and supporting the chorus.  Hang in there.

I’ve asked Brette to send out a survey and I  hope you will  answer truthfully.  It will be a big help for the show committee as we begin to think about our very important 70th anniversary show which I hope will be early in  2022.

A few more weeks to work on our music and then we can focus on “Soon”, which will be our next video.  Judy and I are now working on Ain’t Misbehavin.  Many thanks to all who participated.  Its going to a fun video.

Moving ahead, we will have Ken again on March 25, and after that we’ll start one more new song, “Aquarius”.  If you are feeling overwhelmed with new songs,  just enjoy learning them at your own pace.  We have plenty of time to learn all the songs. How you answer the survey will determine which and how many songs we keep in our current repertoire.  Give the questions serious thought.

Enjoy the weather.  And don’t forget to practice singing intervals and checking for Doh. Board meets on March 15th. Everyone is welcome.
