Good rehearsal last week.  We are slowly working our way through these songs. But you see how long it takes on each song.  Sectionals are very important and going forward we’ll need to find times and places for sectional work.  Meanwhile, keep listening to the recordings.  Memory on Aquarius also important.  One good thing about the masks is that you can’t rely on me mouthing the words.  You are on your own.

Heard from Terry and Ann about ideas for the Glencoe Holiday sing out.  Their suggestions which I think are great are to learn the following songs:

Christmas Chopsticks

Jingle Bells

Santa Claus is coming to town

Silver Bells

White Christmas

This  would make a good set of songs and could be repeated as necessary.  Two or three 6:30 rehearsals should be all that are needed.  We’ll plan to have the first one on Thursday the 21st.  Make sure Terry knows that you plan to sing on that Friday, the 26th of Nov.  probably around 5 o’clock or so.

This Thursday we’ll work on Aquarius , Lullaby of the leaves, It don’t mean a thing and  maybe some work on You’ve got a friend .  It would also be a good idea for you to check your pitches on New Orleans.  We’ve slipped little.

Don’t forget cards for Amy and Char Ecimovich .

Many of you remember Bradford Newquist, (Ken Donovan’s partner). He was our MC for several shows and also performed on one of them.  This is an announcement of his latest album.  I thought some of you might be interested.  Check out his website as well.  Here is his email to me.
