It was so good to see everyone last Thursday. Great turn out as we start the final push to the show.  You guys knew Monday, Monday better than I, so right now I am sitting on the porch ready to sing it over, and over and over again.  It’s been a tricky song for me and I don’t know why.  Also working on the other two , It don’t mean a thing and You’ve got a friend but I think I’m almost there.

Don’t forget to send out booster forms or hand deliver them to your friends, family, dentist, hair dresser, etc.  Any amount helps since we are not selling tickets.  Also, Carole has designed a lovely poster and printed some out.  They are useful to drop in your neighbor’s mailbox or send to friends who don’t use the computer.   We will also get a PDF to send to friends, neighbors and family.

Sponsor a song if you can.

And just one bit of motherly advice to both newer and long time members.  Everyone gets a little anxious as we get closer to the show.

It will be a fabulous show.  Everyone is in this together.  Section leaders may offer more suggestions to their sections as we try to fine tune our performance.  This is their job and no one should take anything personally.  Every suggestion is for the good of the chorus.  Most of the time I’ll be the one critiquing but sometimes section leaders or the choreography writers see things I might miss.  And if you have a concern about anything, just see me at rehearsal, email, call or show up with chocolate.  WE ARE AHEAD OF THE GAME AND ARE WELL PREPARED SO RELAX AND ENJOY THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS.
